Experience Days
Experiencing a Chat with Harlequin.
We have two categories of experience that we run on any day of the week. During the summer the alpaca and group experiences can take place in the evening. Whilst we can accommodate groups during poor weather, it is much nicer to attend when it is fine. We can tailor the experience to your requirements or needs.
Alpaca experience (for 1 to 5 people)
An ideal gift - personalised invitations available for surprise presents
Lasts approximately 3 hours and includes:
- Presentation on alpacas and their background,
- “Close encounters” with alpacas including taking an alpaca for a walk,
- Handling alpacas and what is involved in caring for them,
- Refreshments,
- A DVD on alpacas for each group.
Cost £ 90 for 2 (£ 45 per person), £ 120 for 3 (£ 40 per person), £ 140 for 4 (£ 35 per person) & £ 160 for 5 (£ 32 per person).
Group experience (for groups of 6 to 12)
The 2 hours includes:
- Presentation on alpacas and their background,
- “Close encounters” with alpacas including taking an alpaca for a short walk with others in the group,
- Refreshments.
Cost £ 18 per person for up to 7 people or £ 16 per person for 8 to 12 people.
Our experience days are for adults, although we can accept young people over 12 in a group with family members. The experiences are aimed at people who want to have an enjoyable time with these delightful animals. We also run training courses for new and potential alpaca owners and we provide free training to those who buy alpacas from us.
